VOLCAN CONCEPCION ACTIVITY 2005 (click on any picture to enlarge view)

On the morning of August 29th we noticed that there was billowing smoke coming out of Concepcion behind the regular cloud cover. There was no rumbling noises or ground tremors, but the trail of smoke and ash went for miles. Impressive. As the clouds cleared we had a better view. A closer look. A couple more great shots!
