Utila |

Utila is a small island located off the Eastern coast of Honduras. It is THE place to go to get your diving certification as the price is incredibly low. There's also some nice snorkelling around the island even though much of the coral was killed by Hurricane Mitch. |

It's a rather strange place, with a quirky population who keep things interesting. Everything is within walking distance and there are plenty of hotels and restaurants to chose from. |

Though there's not any beach in town there's a nice sand beach just outside of town as well as surrounding cayes you can visit by boat. |
