Hoi An

Hoi An is a quaint town located along the coast of Vietnam which escaped being damaged by war. The old center of town has been made an UNESCO World Heritage site and has examples of colonial french architecture as well as beautiful Chinese temples and congregation centers. The town itself is set on a river, but the beach is just a short bike ride away.

This is THE place to go if you want to have some tailor made clothes made for really cheap. There are shops everywhere who will make anything from travellers clothes to professional suits, they can sew something from a picture or make copies from your favorite clothes. There are also art boutiques and wonderful restaurants. You can visit China Beach and the Marble Mountains easily from here.

Unfortunately we didn't manage to get any photos on our digital camera.
