This hike is not the easiest hike but is impressive and beautiful. Built by the Tayrona Indians, most of the trail is composed of rocks and the size of some of the rocks they must have moved is incredible.
Trail made of rocks
All around is beautiful jungle scenery and there are some gorgeous views back down to the ocean.
We didn't see a lot of animals while we were hiking, but did run into some monkeys and really enjoyed some of the unique plants in this forest.
