Finca Carpe Diem

Carpe Diem is a beautiful ecological farm located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Santa Marta. The Belgian owners, Mathias & Els, will welcome you happily into thier homes and lives. They grow all kinds of tropical fruits, as well as produce their own coffee and honey.
(Though they will be returning to Belgium for awhile, the farm and hostal will continue on under the direction of trusted friends)

The farm is set in lush tropical jungle surroundings.

Lodging ranges from clean rooms (private bath or shared) to hammocks and camping. Meals are available or there is a great kitchen where you can cook your own.

The farm has 2 beautiful rivers flowing through it (close to the house) that are wonderful for a refreshing swim.

There are Tayrona ruins located on the farm. You can see various stairways, paths and terraces as well as pieces of Tayrona pottery that have been found all over the farm.
