INFO: We had a hard time tracking down info. Here are a few sources you can try.
- KELLY VILLALOBOS @ 201NET: Kelly is so friendly and speaks English. She is a great source of information for places to visit off the regular tourist track. She has great info not only on Santa Marta but Tayrona Park and Diving schools as well.
- GUIDES @ HOTEL MIRAMAR & TITANIC (Oscar): Info on where you can snorkel/camp, public transport and tours to Ciudad Perdida.
- LUÍS: Independent guide you can contact through the Hotel Titanic (He's not allowed at Miramar). Runs tour into Tayrona Park via El Pueblito. Has lived there for quite some time and knows some indian families. It's a different approach and he speaks English. Has a lot of info on the Occidente side of Tayrona.
- GILBERT @ WELCOME RESTAURANT: Day trips/transport. Offers a fair price. Have a great map on wall of restaurant and have diving info.
- CASA FAMILIAR: Lots of info on Ciudad Perdida. Good maps of Santa Marta and Tayrona Park.
