Playa Blanca is a great place for birdwatching. There are many different small birds living near the water. A number of troups had babies as well. |

We saw all the birds below in the shallow lagoon next to the camp where we stayed. |

Flocks of pelicans would often fly over head numbering from 6 to over 40 at a time. |

We also saw parrots, frigets, and numerous non-aquatic birds. |
