Abaj Takalik is a sight where Mayan Ruins are currently being excavated. It has been dated as one of the earliest sites in all of the Mayan realm. For the 25 Quetzales entry fee (about \\$3.00 U.S.) we received a guided tour of the ruins - of course in Spanish. It definitely doesn't compare with more famous ruins. The Lonely Planet definitely nailed it on this one. |
