Granada is a beautiful colonial city in Nicaragua. We came back to visit again this year because we enjoyed it so much last year. |

Located on Lake Nicaragua, Granada is one of the ports to go to Ometepe (a beautiful island in Lake Nicaragua) and to San Marcos where you can begin a boat trip down the Rio San Juan.

Granada has many travellers so its easy to get information about Nicaragua as well as Honduras and Costa Rica. In fact when we arrived in Granada we happened upon two of our friend from our Spanish school in Xela
Dick and Ester. We had hoped to see them again and we were so happy to turn around in our hotel and see them standing there.
