Ometepe continues to draw us back. There is just something magical about this place and so we returned to visit again and had a wonderful time, though it was incredible to see the increase in tourism just in one year. |

On the ferry from Granada we met this sweet little girl with the most infectious smile. She quickly became our friend and helped the 4 hour ride go by much faster.

We arrived in Altagracia and found out it is a much nicer town to stay in than Moyagalpa (where we stayed last year).

This year we focused on seeing more of the island and it's wildlife. Petroglyphs Monkeys Birds Butterflies & Reptiles With such great wildlife, natural beauty, fantastic people, and agricultural focus, we decided this was definitely someplace we wanted to live.
